Meditation
Many beginners do not begin doing something because of low confidence level or less trust in what they are going to do. But meditation will not be an experience in vain and that is a guarantee. You might think it is a tedious issue but it is rather simple and easy to perform. You simply need to follow 5 easy steps and you will love the experience.
The first step involves finding a suitable place to do the activity. You either closed yourself in a room, play mantras with very low volume and start meditating. Or, find a meditation center close to your place and visit it. In India, people used to meditate under the shade of trees in quiet places and hence used to be completely attached to meditation. Hence, finding a right place to meditate is as important as the techniques you used to meditate.
The second step is to relax. After you find the place and rest yourself in a suitable position you should attain relaxation. Every part of your body should be relaxing separately. It is advised to start from your feet and work upwards slowly.
The third step is more relaxation. You can do this by closing your eyes and concentrating on your breathing. Your inhalation and exhalations should not be automatic, you should breathe consciously and this will give more relaxation. Your breaths should be deep, slow and long.
The fourth step also involves breathing. Specifically, you want to count your breaths. You should do so for several seconds, but gradually begin increasing the count. Timing your breaths is a great way to help you relax even further.
The fifth and final step involves more concentration. You will have to concentrate on one particular thing. May be the sound coming from outside your room or the sound of your breathing or every inhalation and exhalation is concentrated upon and the way the air enters your nostrils. In the beginning, your focus might drift away to other thoughts, do not get frustrated, it is natural without practice. Soon you will get used to the meditation and you will see the change in your life. Your stress levels will drop exponentially and things will get easier.
